Nice and solid stand.

Nice stand. Not very heavy but nice and durable. In fact, I also put a camcorder on it and it worked fine. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Solid tripod good for lighting and studio

This is a very sturdy tripod. Heavy and stable. The only thing that confuses me is that it takes significant pressure to open the legs. Apart from that, it is very well made.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Decent for the price

Pretty decent product for the price, handles a good weight, I probably wouldn't put more weight on it, but works great for smaller LEDs.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Don't like it, everything is fine

Wrong weight and scratches

I think the tripod was used because it has scratches. In addition, the description stated the wrong weight, so I had to pay more for transport to another country. The light stand is very good.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Great for boom stands

I use this to build a boom stand with clamp and brace. This supports the weight of a fully extended boom with an airship and shotgun attached. It topples over in the wind, but haven't had any problems indoors so far. The base height is a little higher than comfortable, so it is sometimes difficult to transport even when fully compacted.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Empty

Durable for camera and photography

Great stand! The height is more than I really need but it won't be knocked over by small children or pets. It has a wide bearing surface and springs in each section so the tubes cannot collapse into each other; After a while I had a problem with other racks. The handles and cuffs are also sturdy, so they shouldn't come loose with use. It's a bit heavy - I didn't pay attention to the actual weight compared to my other coasters, but the durability is worth it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Great price

Sturdy Light Stand - Illumination

I was surprised that I ordered such a strong and well balanced light stand. I've spent 40 years with the ones I have and had no idea how light they are. I put a Godox SL 200 watt light on it. I'm locked down so I've focused on indoor projects, not a studio. I mean I don't have much space and I trip over the stand but it stays put, no sandbags. I have no idea if it's lightweight compared to other stands. I can pick it up easily, but I don't pack it or carry it around.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Speed

Broke 10 months after purchase.

Broke 10 months after purchase. And to be honest, the only thing I've ever put on it is lightning. I'm a wedding photographer so I use them a lot. He's been to maybe 15 weddings and only kept one flash. The blessed little piece of black plastic around the neck just popped out as it broke. I've had a Manfrotto for years and it's still perfect. Needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed that he only lived 10 months despite his light workload. I can still use it, but it's not as stable and strong as…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Clarity
