Worth every penny at Fish & Aquatic Pets

I have purchased several aquarium lights and this is by far the best. I use the lighting 24/7 and it's great. My plants and fish are thriving.

Bright light with great potential

Excellent light. It has 24 hot modes that automatically simulate daylight from dawn to dusk, moonlight and blackout. Great light for a small aquarium! My plants love light.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons

He's very good at what he does.

I've only been running for about 3 weeks. It's very light, the tank it's in is 30 inches deep, and plants at all levels will thrive. I replaced the Beamsworks light with this one.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Running speed

This product was very easy to set up.

This flashlight offers ample light and full spectrum, including midday light, pre-dark moonlight and even a thunderstorm function! It's a very good light and was very easy to set up.

Pros
  • Well Built
Cons
  • Something Wrong

Good CRI. Good setting.

I tried the comparable Hygger first because it was cheaper and got a lot more reviews. However, Hygger had a very poor CRI and the light was very useless and could not be programmed for natural colors. This lamp from Nicrew solves all these problems. In addition, the LEDs have to be of higher quality because the CRI is noticeably better. The default of 24/7 is fine, and probably fine if you're new to the aquarium. I wanted my vivarium to look natural so I set up the lights and got great…

I like it, I'll buy a third

That's a lot of light for $30. LED lights are getting better and better. That's a lot better than many older LED models. A single $30 12-18" rod seems twice as bright as my old 18-24" Aqueon OptiBright+ ($75) although it's not as bright as my old 12- Inch-Amano Aquasky ($200). If you're into high-tech, high-intensity aquascaping I'd recommend stepping up to something like Chihiros/Twinstar ($100+), but for most other uses it's a great light. The RGB settings allow you to fine-tune the…

Great light at a very reasonable price

Can't complain for the price. It has a wide color spectrum, is easy to adjust and retains all color and phase settings (sunrise, sunset, night) when switched off. The only thing that bothers me is that a power outage, no matter how brief, means the time resets to 00:00. To illustrate, if a power outage occurs at 10:00 am and returns at 10:02 am, the aquarium will now not be lit until 5:00 pm (assuming the lights were programmed to come on at 7:00 am). This isn't the only timed lamp on the…
