Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

Bought to replace an old fuji soap dish. The camera is frankly weak. To get more or less acceptable quality, you need to immediately turn off the digital zoom and autofocus. With manual autofocus, photos are much better. With automatic, macro is not always obtained. Blurred photos are often obtained. Especially if the hands are shaking, or twitching at that moment. There are still some embarrassing moments. Photo taken. And on it the foliage is smeared at the top. Have to cut. This camera is…

Pros
  • Many settings, charged from the computer.
Cons
  • Average photo quality.

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

Realizing the mundane price level of the model, it is naive to expect super-zoom, GPS, Wi-Fi, etc. The level of the model is almost equal to the capabilities of phone shooting, slightly surpassing it only in the "Backlighting" and "Macro" functions. I bought this model due to a breakdown / repair of the main camera, as an inexpensive, urgently needed option for vacations and filming like "Family and the Sea". After the holidays, I will give it to my junior school son to master the Nikon…

Pros
  • The presence of the "Backlighting" and "Macro" functions, compactness, the usual Nikon control buttons, video (I rarely use it). Good shots of portraits and landscapes without zooming in with good lighting.
Cons
  • Charging is NOT micro-USB (inability to charge with a telephone wire). When approaching (although it is small / "conditional" in terms of technical characteristics), the quality of the image drops significantly. With twilight and fireworks, despite the declared functions, in comparison with their much more expensive counterparts, it does not cope. The "Backlighting" function only works with flash, i. E. it is only suitable for daytime shooting. For older, more expensive Nikon digital cameras, this function can work without a flash for beautiful shooting of a night-lit street, for example. With practically telephone skills, the price could be 20 percent lower (I bought it for 7500; the red price is not more than 6 thousand).

I'm not completely satisfied with the product.

I was looking for a compact device as a replacement for Nikon colpix 4200, 2022, 4m. Px, 3x zoom, by modern standards - heavy and bulky, video - "none" Also, the battery cover is broken. The image quality of the old Colpix4200 (4mpix) was significantly better than the new ColpixA100 (20mpix). Its pros: Compact, lightweight, large display, 16:9 (5120 x 2880) mode, USB charging, good video quality. With its cons. The quality of the photos is very mediocre - "soapy", in good lighting it is still

The perfect product for any user!

Bought for travel. We often ride somewhere with the family, so a camera is necessary. We wanted a small and high-quality one, so that the photos would not turn out to be telephone, but decent ones. This option suited us and met all expectations, we have been using it for more than a year, no breakdowns, we figured out the settings quickly, there are no tricks. The price matches the quality.

Pros
  • Compact, lightweight, high quality
Cons

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

Bought a couple of weeks ago. I took it in the first place for shooting video. I am pleased with the quality of the resulting videos and can safely recommend it. The maximum length of one video at maximum quality is 9 minutes 49 seconds. I didn’t use it to take photos, but a few test shots in different conditions turned out to be quite tolerable (I set it to 10 megapixels in the settings)

Pros
  • -can shoot video in HD quality, 720p; -Microphone normally records sound at close range; - support for SD, SDHC, SDXC memory cards; - the slot for memory cards is conveniently located, - it is possible to change quickly; - you can charge from a power bank on the road; -If you turn off the digital zoom and play with the settings, you can take tolerable photos; - lens focal length; - suitable as a companion camera.
Cons
  • Few settings, as on any amateur camera

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

I shot branded promotional photos of goods for macro and nature for myself. If a person’s hands are not hooked and shaking, everything will work out fine. The color rendition is perfect in my opinion, no neon colors, as it happens in cheap cameras. If you are looking for an inexpensive option, I recommend. Pros: In this price category, the best option among all other firms. If you dig into the settings and choose the right one, it perfectly shoots both macro and distance. Sharpness and color…

It can't be worse! A waste of money.

I got this camera as a service camera - for shooting documents at work. Therefore, I proceed from the fact that I got this gift horse absolutely free of charge. As the owner of a NEX series mirrorless camera, the quality of the pictures really upset me. Well, okay, the camera was needed for photo documents, but even in this it copes mediocrely. Photos are soapy, autofocus misses, there are no settings that could at least somehow correct the situation. It is impossible to manually adjust the…

Pros
  • Compact, slim body, cord included, perhaps that's all
Cons
  • Image quality, body ergonomics, non-standard USB connector, lack of any manual shooting mode

NIKON LOST ITS GOOD NAME! :-(

I bought this camera a few years ago because I trusted the NIKON name and quality. Last year I did uses it, maybe a few days (hours) a month and on several photoshoots I got the error "Battery low". I tried to charge it but it didn't charge. I naively decided to buy new NIKON batteries to buy, and in the last 7 months I have bought there are more batteries for this camera than they are worth! This is definitely a defective NIKON product, unfortunately I would NOT recommend this camera as the…

Pros
  • High resolution 3" display (460,000 dots) with touch controls and clear colors
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Fun camera suitable for digital cameras

Camera I was paid well, that was my only problem with this camera. I went to the local Radio Shack, Target, and Office Max stores to find cameras, all of which had the S4100 on display but sold out when they sold for $99. I figured I'd wait for it to ship and not pay sales tax on Revain, it was also $10 off pre-tax on Revain, so I ended up paying $18.91 off ordering online, so thanks to Revain for the 17.5% savings. It takes great shots with little lag between photos and it has a pretty good…

Pros
  • NIKKOR 5x optical wide angle zoom glass lens
Cons
  • Concise manual

Resistive touch technology is the worst solution

I have fairly limited experience with this camera as it was bought as a gift for my mother but I've played with it a few times not my DSLR to Hand. The camera takes solid pictures for a point-and-shoot camera, comes with everything you need and looks relatively good. One of the great things about the camera is that it uses more optical than digital zoom. This allows you to take closer photos without degrading the image quality. The main thing that makes me despise this camera is the resistive…
