11-22mm vs 12-60mm on DSLR lenses

Although my 12-60mm lens is more versatile, the slightly larger 11-22mm lens aperture is more important as I thought. First, it is geometrically better matched. If you don't want to photograph buildings or straight lines, it doesn't matter. Second, this is my indoor lens.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Used - like new - right!

You never know how a seller will come up with condition ratings for used goods. The Olympus lens I bought from Recycled Photo was advertised as 'like new' and apart from not coming in the original packaging it looks and works well. Great price and honest description. I would buy from these guys again with confidence.

The Olympus f/2.8-3.5 Zuiko Lens Kit works great.

With the Zuiko f2.8-3.5 11-22mm, 14-54mm and 50-200mm lens set you can take really good quality pictures. I can't wait for the new E510 to come out in June with 10 megapixels and an active LCD screen. My friend has a Cannon 30D, which costs twice as much as my Olympus E500, but I can only shoot good quality with my lens. Either way, the 11-22mm lens works great. I sent back the first 11-22mm lens because it didn't focus. Well, the company needs to know its lens won't focus properly until it…

Must have: DSLR lenses

Let me start by saying I'm not a pro, I only got into the DSLR world about 4 months ago. However, this lens is a must-have for your collection. The lens costs around 700 US dollars, but is in the Olympus mid-range in terms of quality. Images from this lens are ethereal, great color and detail. Even the limited distortion you can achieve at the widest settings can be used as a creative or simply cropped. I've already taken dozens of recordings with it in the entire range without annoying…

Great lens but not universal

Firstly 14mm-54 and 50-200mm are must haves. This 11mm to 22mm lens is slightly wider at the wide end than the 14mm lens. So what does 11mm bring you that 14mm doesn't? When I'm in a room and I want to convey the atmosphere of the whole room, those few extra millimeters are great for me. When I'm on the street and want to rent an entire building, not just the first few floors, it's very convenient. This lens takes up about 10% of my camera time. When I know I'm going to need it, I move on…

Sharp and almost distortion-free.

I had this lens in my old office for 4 years. Now I've finally bought it for myself and here is my review (as I'm not a native English speaker, I apologize in advance for my mistakes.) This is a fast, weatherproof lens, sharper than 14-54 and IMO sharp as 50mm f2 . If you photograph architecture, I suggest you have it in your camera bag. When photographing architecture, you have four Olympus lenses to choose from. cheap and wide 9-18, sharp and very expensive 7-14, versatile, excellent 12-60…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
