Different size rulers. I really like that there are dark lines for cutting alignment on light materials on one side and yellow lines for dark materials on the other side. This contributes to the cutting accuracy. The only minor downside is the tendency of the plastic to slip when cutting, leaving the cuts crooked. However, there are many products that help increase grip on the line's surface.

This set is much cheaper to order than individually. I don't quilt, but these rulers will come in handy for anyone who sews. It costs money to get them for scrapbooking, sewing, leatherwork, cutting with scissors or a rotary cutter. It's thick enough not to bend and you have a very sharp cutting edge so you don't mess up cutting paper or fabric. It's amazing how a precise grid can help you get creative no matter what you cut or measure. Buying this set is cheaper than buying them individually.

I was looking for a 12.5 inch diagonal ruler and found one for $23. You can easily see why I jumped at this 4 for $22 bargain! I wanted not only the 12.5" but also the 9.5". I was very happy to find both. The rest was just a cake. I've always loved Omnigrid because they're easy to read markers, but when it comes down to the cut I really prefer them because I have no problem reading the markers or trying to figure out the sizes. I received a set of four Omnigrid rulers plus an additional set of four rulers, hence the name Value Pack and planned Use four rulers when quilting. Well, although I've had the rulers for over two weeks, I haven't used them for this purpose yet. However, I have used them for a few other tasks including crafting, scrapbooking, clipping articles from newspapers and recipes from magazines. I'll get into quilting over time, but having a ruler that can be used for many other purposes is really nice.
