Inexpensive set of handy rulers
Different size rulers. I really like that there are dark lines for cutting alignment on light materials on one side and yellow lines for dark materials on the other side. This contributes to the cutting accuracy. The only minor downside is the tendency of the plastic to slip when cutting, leaving the cuts crooked. However, there are many products that help increase grip on the line's surface.
