Faulty Electrical Inlet for Automotive

This power inlet proved to be a complete waste of money. As my tests showed, the unit did not securely hold the plug and frequently disconnected, leaving me without power. The design seems cheap and unreliable. The only positive aspect is that it was easy to install. Unfortunately, this is outweighed by the fact that it doesn't actually work as intended. I am very disappointed and would not recommend.

Pros
  • Sturdy and durable construction
Cons
  • Requires professional installation for optimal performance

Perfect replacement

I was originally looking at the Furrion which costs about $50 more than this unit but decided to see if I could find an OEM part for the Revain for my Travato. Glad I did, easy to install and replace.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Crumpled

Good 30A socket but be aware of recommended crown size when using

I used this 30A socket and a piece of flat aluminum to redesign the shore power connection for my caravan , and it worked fine, but the 2 7/8 bit they said to use was a bit larger than I would have liked, but it still attached with the screws provided.

Pros
  • Caravan Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Having problems
