Philmore 12V 15A Cigarette Lighter Socket: Reliable Power with Heavy-Duty Metal Mounting Bracket Review

Since my new truck is "smarter than me" and turns off the accessory port after 7-8 minutes ("Battery Saver"), I had to install it in the cab on the passenger side. in the leg area and plugged directly into the battery so I can use it to charge my phone, turn on the lights, heat my 12 volt lunch box, etc. Bulky, ugly, never mind - works well and seems to last a long time.

Easily mounts to Axys snowmobile in dash. Compared to the OEM part, this product has the same quality and packaging as the OEM part but much cheaper. Had to buy a SAE connector from the 12v connector to the harness but no big deal. I use it to power a Garmin mounted on a snowmobile. With this installation there were no problems throughout the winter. I highly recommend this product.

This is a power connector, not a cigarette lighter. False advertising. As a power connector, it can work normally, but the power connectors are not exposed to the heat of the cigarette lighter socket, so the power connectors do not absorb the cigarette lighter element. Due to the low cost, I'm just throwing it into my growing stack of Revain purchases that don't match the description.
