I prefer Ripster to the original RipStik!

This is a great deal on RipStik. The Ripster is smaller than the traditional RipStik, my kids are 8 and 10 and have ridden the Original and the Ripster RipStik. They prefer Ripster, but smaller kids find it easier!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Doubtful

10 year wish list

Top item on my 10 year wish list! She was so excited to receive it. Every day she asks me to take it when I pick her up from school so she can take it to her car. She is now over a week old and is continuing to develop. I have already told some friends where I can get it for my kids!

Perfect fit for 10 year old

My 10 year old loves this item. If you're trying to decide between this and the regular Rip Stick, I can tell you what it says/what we noticed. 1) He didn't like the rip-stick's wobbly bits that knock you off your feet easily. This one is much more stable while they are using it.2) He is of average height compared to other boys his age and this little Ripster is the perfect size. Other species with longer tails would not allow it to work because its legs had to be too far apart. Hope that…

Kids prefer full size

I bought this because I have two kids and a RipStik. I really didn't realize how much smaller it would be than the RipStik we already had and that's my fault. My kids are big (and have big feet) and none of them like this board. At first I interested my son by telling him that the smaller board was handier and better for tricks, but in the end he told me he didn't think that was true. If I had to do it again I would buy another full size RipStik instead of the Ripster. On a positive note, my…

Perfect! in Scooters & Equipment

This is not one of the big ripsticks, this is for someone of small stature (I'm 5ft 1in for example) or a child. It works great! I only realized there was an even bigger option I think when I saw it in stores. (of the two I still prefer this size) but if you need a larger size this is not the one. Great craftsmanship and super fun! (Wearing protective gear while in use and having a flat/smooth surface is highly recommended. There's not a good way to break them unless you're either really good…

Nice ripstick for sport

This was a Christmas present for my son last year. Remember there are 2 sizes - the smaller one is for kids (my son is 12). He rode his cousin's Ripstick and loved it so I decided to get him one. It took a while to get used to - much more difficult than a skateboard as there was only one wheel front and back. But a day or two later he had it and has been rushing back and forth ever since. I bought it for him in anticipation of his snowboard trip for Christmas. We just got back from our trip and

Our RipStik became a housewife!

This is our second Ripstick - the first my child lost over a year ago. He forgot the lost one, but I didn't, and I got him a new one for Christmas. He trembled at first when he tried to use it again and I wondered if he would regain interest. Then, on a rainy, cold day, he realized he could use it to go around the house, circling the downstairs rooms. We have parquet floors so it's doable. I've looked at the floors and haven't noticed any wear yet, but of course if I see scratches or signs of…
