Very nice little camera!

The camera works very well, the photos are very good. The only two negatives are that the battery life could be better. Another problem is that every time I take out the battery to charge, you have to reset the time and date. You must do this before taking the photo. I recorded a video with sound and it's very good. I like the camera very much. I take a lot of photos, so the two issues I mentioned probably won't matter to the average person who takes photos from time to time.

LOVE the burst function

After buying a $500+ Olympus camera and being very frustrated with the digital quality (although I've had good luck with Olympus before) , I decided it would be better to have a small camera that I could fit in my pocket to take all those unmissable shots. The best thing about this camera is the burst mode. If you have the normal camera mode, green camera on the watch face. Go to the menu and set the shutter to burst. Then you can take 4-8 consecutive photos at the touch of a button. Then I can

Only as good as the user

I've had this camera for over 3 years and never had a problem with it. I took thousands of photos of it! I also have a Nikon D-500 and a Panasonic Lumix Mega Zoom. Each of them has their own unique traits/abilities, so I have a good starting point as well. You need to spend some time learning how to use its features. Image stabilization can be turned on or off. When taking photos, make sure the dial is in the correct position. Hitting the macro button for close-up shots won't get you a great…

  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Excellent picture, lots of features but stuck with "memory chip "

I've bought several of these little digital cameras over the last 15 years and this little Sony hasn't lost its relevance. Of course, it has more pixels than older cameras, but with around 8 megapixels, parameters such as shutter speed and optical quality are more important for image quality. For this reason, I prefer to buy from experienced, quality camera manufacturers rather than from consumer electronics manufacturers like Sony. My Nikon and Canon digital cameras have been taking great…

Absolutely unbelievable!

I needed a second camera for business as we use the same camera in the office which often causes delays. I was so happy with the Sony Cybershot DSCW80 that I bought about two or three years ago that it wasn't difficult to upgrade to this newer, more megapixel version. This is my fourth Sony digital camera and I love it. I cannot stress enough how amazing the anti-blur technology is in this camera. While these newer lightweight cameras are much more portable than their predecessors, they're also
