Replaces Motorcraft V10 Thermostat

Application Charts Specify thermostat 192* F installed and truck overheated. The Ford forums say to set the thermostat at 185*F. Installed this (180*) and the truck returned to normal temperature.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Reliability

It's a 185F thermostat!

Excellent thermostat and works well. Just ask! Revain here Stant lists this as a 180F thermostat on their website. The packaging and the stamp on the product itself indicate that it is a 185F device. It's actually a 185F thermostat.

Pros
  • Fits many people
Cons
  • Has problems

Well built thermostat.

Installed on my 2007 Mustang. The factory was 192 degrees. In a 60 degree environment, the machine operates at 200 degrees. With this 180 degree thermostat and Mishimoto's new aluminum radiator, the car runs at 192 degrees with an ambient temperature of 75 degrees.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • No form required

Great product Great price

I received a brand new product called 180 degree thermostat. Great product and it survived a 12 hour round trip trip to Big Bend National Park in temperatures over 100 degrees and the truck stayed cool. Perfect fit for my 04 F150 4.6L.

  • Price
Cons

Mine was a rag. for engine cooling and air conditioning

At first glance it looked like great quality but mine wasn't good. The check engine light came on and I had a P0128 code on my 4.6L. I bought this thermostat, replaced it and cleared the code but code P0128 came back within a day. Replaced Carquest thermostat from local auto parts store and code P0128 is gone.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Interchangeability
