Great for real chips!

If you love frying chips (or french fries in the US) and tire of getting chips out of the oil, this is for you. The basket has a high quality construction and is very well finished. The basket is perfect for my cast iron Dutch dust. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who frys a lot and doesn't have a dedicated fryer. RATING: 5 crispy chips

The most durable frying basket

We first bought a basket fryer and have had it for many years. The original basket's handle eventually fell apart, so we sourced and measured as many baskets to replace it. We chose this basket and we LOVE it. This basket is of high quality and I am sure it will last us the life of our fryer and then some. This is one of the best Revain buys of all time. Go ahead, do yourself a favor and buy it.

The frame is strong but the basket sucks

The frame is sturdy, won't fold under heavy loads but the wires that make up the basket are poorly made. Some ends end in the middle with no support means so they can curl or unroll and pose a cut/puncture hazard - I cut my finger on one. Also, they are not very rigid, so they are easily spaced unevenly. I returned this item to Revain and bought the Lodge version which has a much better finish and finish.

  • Sequins
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

FRY W/OA PLUG-IN: Parts & Accessories for Small Appliances

[[ASIN:B001PZ9GQS Thunder Group 9" Fry Basket, Medium] Love making teriyaki wings, would like but no longer an electric fryer. Nothing wrong with that, but the amount of food you can fry is less. The 9" fry basket is deeper and wider to hold more food. So much less cleanup. It fits perfectly in my cast iron sage skillet. My kitchen appliances need to be upgraded to be used for cooking I found this basket to replace another frying tool Also easy to store in the cast iron skillet Thanks

Well made and durable cooking basket

I had to send this back as it's a bit too big for me even though it says small. I need something around 6 inches and it's a bit hard to find. I'll probably have better luck in the eastern market. The product is very durable, well-made and heavy, which tells you that it will not disappoint you for many years, especially if you are constantly frying food. Nothing wrong with this item, it was just a bit too big for the pots I already have for frying the lumpia. If 8 inch fits you, buy it. You will

Will not fit Presto Granpappy Electric Air Fryer (If interested)

I bought this to use with my Granpappy Electric Air Fryer (it's great) but it doesn't fit. I figured this would fit because Granpappy is 9" wide and this basket is listed as 8" wide. On fryers with this feature, the basket has a wire bracket opposite the hanging handle. This bracket prevents the basket from getting into the Granpappy. I'll keep it because I'm sure there's another pot I can use it in. It looks high quality but I haven't used it yet so I'm giving it 4 stars.

Sturdy, economical large frying basket

This basket has a very strong frame, almost weightless. The network is not that strong, but it is quite suitable for its work. The whole is very shiny with lots of silver metal coatings. It looks like it will last for many years. a pot to be compatible with this basket. I am disappointed because the hook on my basket is too small to fit on the pot stand, although my basket looks exactly like the picture when the basket is hooked onto the stand. The basket still fits snugly in the pot, but the…

Not only suitable for frying.

Bought as a "boil basket" and not for frying as I don't fry. I use it for dusting flour or breading before shallow frying, rinsing veggies, steaming or cooking veggies or potatoes, etc. For cooking, it's much easier to just remove the basket from the hot water when it's done rather than everything to be poured into a colander and the face is filled with steam. I also use it to make the best shrimp shrimp cocktail. Here's how: Fill the pot so that the basket is about 3/4 full of water, leaving…
