A great way to turn your webcam into a surveillance camera.

I bought this to temporarily place my Lifecam Cinema HD webcam outside on a sunny day and it works great for that purpose. The picture with two coils confused me a bit; When I unwrapped the cable, I saw that there was an active repeater in the middle of the cable and a second repeater at the end. The repeater in the middle is hardwired. The cable itself is a shielded, braided cable with a clear plastic outer covering - this should help avoid interference issues and ensure limited water exposure

Worked great for me

Had to tie my Nikon D7000 to my Macbook for studio photography. With the modem, you can see and even control the digital camera from your computer. A large image on a computer monitor greatly facilitates work in the studio. However, tying involves hazards to equipment. A trip or cable trap and devices worth thousands of dollars can fall to the ground. Anyway, I bought this cable and added it to the standard 6ft USB to mini USB cable (to connect to the camera). , plugged everything together andโ€ฆ
