Well built: Flashing

Working and well built. Drop tested on a hard wooden floor from 5 feet and it withstood the fall. I believe this is the same flash as the APEMAN SL530.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Concerns me

Works perfectly! for flash

I'm not a professional photographer but I needed a flash to add some light to my shots. Serves its purpose as expected. I had a technical problem and the communication was fast and they helped me with my problem. I definitely recommend this product.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are nuances

Low light output compared to other cheap flashes

Works but light output is about a notch lower than other cheap flashes. According to his manual he only has GN31 @ 35mm. Experiments show it's a notch weaker than other GN38 handheld flashes at the same price.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Buy it! fits shoe mount flash

This is a manual flash and I've only used it for a few hours but I'm happy with this purchase. It looks well made and solidly built. Not a cheap feeling. Flash memory performance is also very good with enough features to boot. If you want to learn how to flash manually, you will never regret this purchase.

Pros
  • Many do little things

Great price, easy to use, very effective.

This is the first flash I have bought and I am very satisfied. I bought this because I had an indoor birthday party and needed a flash to take proper photos. That flash was a clutch! If I didn't have it, I'd have a bunch of photos I couldn't use. Very easy to use, it literally took me a few minutes to get used to the controls. I strongly recommend an inexpensive but effective flash.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • For seniors

Large and durable, works great

After 15 years of heavy use in commercial, editorial and wedding photography, one of my Nikon SB-24s is no longer reliable. As I was evaluating other options, I needed a replacement quickly, so I ordered this one. Didn't expect such a good product. I've only used it on two corporate shoots so far, but everything about it has impressed me. Massive power, fast charging, no batteries seem to be dead, large easy-to-read display, controls are simple and straightforward, build quality feels solid…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Trade-in available

Works so far with my CANON80D

First time using flash let alone fitting it to my Canon80D. It settled quickly, at first I didn't think it would stick, but it did. The lightning struck; It's more a matter of learning modes/settings. UPDATE 9/20/21: My flash has helped me many times with my lighting game BUT it has failed me TWICE at shooting! I checked my settings and battery performance and they were fine. I've tried to shoot night shots in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, but I couldn't do it on important shoots. I'm not happy so

  • Price
Cons

Surprisingly good manual flash!

Really wasn't expecting this as Canon/Nikon equivalents cost a few hundred dollars but this flash actually works well. It was solid, reliable and the batteries lasted a long time. I'd say it's about as good as the Yongnuo Blitzes, which cost almost twice as much. The flash has GN 58 and settings from 1/128 to full (1/1) power in one stop increments. It's fairly fully articulated (compared to most of its competitors). I've used it for a couple of real estate shoots and it has worked well…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
