UPDATED REVIEW

Paint applied easily; However, I made some shirts for a friend and the ink came off in the wash. Very disappointed that the ink didn't last after all the hard work I put into these shirts. I didn't know there was a window to go back otherwise I would have gotten rid of it a while ago.

Pros
  • Washes exceptionally well
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Surprisingly good results (don't judge a can by it's size lol)

I was sad at first because the can was so small but it's VERY thick so it lasts a long time. ^_^ It also has a soft hand skin so it appears milky (but if you rub it with your hand you will see a shimmer). I sprayed it with water and it worked great. I was pleasantly surprised with the results, especially after heat setting. (photo attached) FYI, I pulled twice to get a rich gold color like it was on the black shirt.

Pros
  • Translucent water based ink
Cons
  • boring packaging

Frequent screen clogging

This was my first time using metallic ink. The first prints were great. But the ink quickly clogged the screen. I had to clean often. The impressions quickly became incomplete and each time more difficult to clean. As I fed the ink back during the cleaning, the solids became more and more concentrated. Don't do what I did. I tried to get 48 shirts out of this jar - maybe 30 would be reasonable. A lesson in buying twice as much and throwing away what wasn't so easy and making extra screens as…

Pros
  • Smooth, creamy consistency with a soft ink finish
Cons
  • High price
