I bought this mount for my camper van. I installed it in an entertainment cabinet on the side, which allows me to turn it front to the living room side or back to the bedroom. First of all, this thing is amazing. It holds my monitor with no problems and I had no problems with it. The range of motion is quite wide, but the physical movement is stiff. You can technically loosen the screws to allow for smoother movement, but it will hold your monitor up so keep that in mind. Putting it together is a bitch.
