Rubbing in boots

Rotates during movement and rubs the horse's heel, leaving a scuff. If you use it over a compression stocking you should be fine. Otherwise very durable material with excellent velcro.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything's fine

Short lifespan of gaiters and bandages

My horse wore these flared gaiters for several days on flat ground with no rocks and the rubber was completely torn in half through the secure velcro straps. Don't waste money on them

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I will add later

Boots work well in Boots & Wraps

Item works great! I use them to soothe wounds in horses. The boots stay in place and withstand rain and snow. I needed a smaller size and I liked that I could order it and get it quickly.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Empty

Not Durable - Horses

I use these hind bells when my horse steps on himself. He tore them apart in just under two weeks. Not hard enough for him. They might work well for the front legs, but I don't use them for this purpose.

  • Great Price

Breaks easily - Horses

Great price but my horse has changed 3 pairs in a month. My horse wears them 24/7 in the pasture and when working as a hunter/jumper. They tear easily, and Velcro loses its "stickiness" too quickly. If your horse doesn't overexert a lot, they may work better for you.

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Not durable: Boots

They don't last more than a month. I've bought many of these and a few other cheaper pairs and no matter what, they don't last long. The Velcro area comes off. I have them on my active Ottbah all the time. I've only seen their scars once. If you don't have very active horses, they might last longer.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • High price

They get the job done

Bought a medium size for a 16.2 OTTB with pretty fancy legs and they fit perfectly. My friend only wears flared boots when riding and they are great for that. They're quick to put on, easy to set up, and work exactly how I want them to. In addition, they are quite cheap and unobtrusive in black. FWIW: They ripped pretty easily when accidentally put on.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

The most durable boots at this price

The best bells you can find at this price. I use when not riding my disorganized OTTB which usually finds a way to rip my boots or the velcro but they don't get damaged even after months of wearing. The Velcro stays relatively clean and sticks to its pasture even with a little dirt. The medium ones fit my horse who wears size zero horseshoes in the front.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I won't say anything
