Perfect fit for Honda Civic 2006 EX.

This part was reliable and ran with no problems. The same part, just the white plastic outer cover. There are no other problems yet.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Be careful. You tend to get what you pay for.

Aborted during installation. I'm not sure if the o-ring was too thick, wasn't a standard material, or if I actually used too much torque. I switched to another brand and the o-ring wasn't that thick. I would not use this brand again. It was 1/3 the price of another so I guess you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some cons

It didn't work on my 2008 Honda Element.

The connector shape on my 2008 Honda Element is different from the picture. You shouldn't and shouldn't force the plug on if it doesn't fit. Advance Auto was the only place that sold the real car. I couldn't find the right one at Revain, although many gauges said "Fits my 2008 item exactly" and didn't match the correct connector type.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Almost never

2009 Article: Only for thermostat sensors, not radiator sensors

Note that the 2009 Honda Element has two temperature sensors that look almost the same; one in the thermostat housing and one on the bottom of the radiator. Earlier Elements had a short switch on the heatsink, but not in 2009! This sensor will not fit the 2009 Honda Element radiator side wiring harness but will fit the thermostat wiring harness. In that sense, they are not for everyone. You may have to go to your dealer to get the correct $80 radiator sensor.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
