Very disappointed with this slide. The film rolls were tightly compressed and difficult to separate. When disassembled, the edges were creased. We tried peeling the roll off and you had to do it very, very slowly as the backing stripped off some of the film and ripped it. We wrapped foil around popsicle sticks to attach a tiny lightbulb to the stick and add conductivity to the experiment.

Pros
  • Adhesive, Sealant and Lubricant
Cons
  • Some bugs

Copper for slugs

I used this foil tape to keep slugs away from my potted plants. The liquid secreted by the snail's body reacts to copper in the same way as it does to salt. The ongoing electrolysis prevents them from crossing that line. However, the width of this tape, which is approximately 1/8 inch, is not sufficient on its own. I had to wrap a few rows around the rim of my pots to create a strip about half an inch wide to give him enough time to react to the amount of her body that came in contact with it…

Pros
  • Electrically conductive adhesives
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Really frustrating to decompress but works well once you do.

A set of six brass bands is a mixed bag. The product itself is as advertised - the right width, has reasonably good adhesion and reasonable electrical conductivity. But it comes as a shrink-wrapped brick with six rolls in two stacks of three. It is almost impossible to separate these stacks both from each other and from the thin plastic film surrounding them, since the adhesive from the rolls is bonded to both the wrapper and to adjacent rolls. So you spend 15 minutes peeling off bits of…
