Review on ⚡ Maximizing Safety: Conductive Shielding Repellent for Effective Electrical Grounding by Mark Bennett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Really frustrating to decompress but works well once you do.

A set of six brass bands is a mixed bag. The product itself is as advertised - the right width, has reasonably good adhesion and reasonable electrical conductivity. But it comes as a shrink-wrapped brick with six rolls in two stacks of three. It is almost impossible to separate these stacks both from each other and from the thin plastic film surrounding them, since the adhesive from the rolls is bonded to both the wrapper and to adjacent rolls. So you spend 15 minutes peeling off bits of plastic, and then the painfully slow and dangerous operation of separating them with a spatula or similar flat and thin tool. In the end it was probably worth it. for me - I use a lot of this copper tape to build capacitive touch sensors and it was really nice to get six full rolls for that price. But if you don't have a one-time intern for the unboxing process and only need a small amount for a project, you might be better off buying a version where each roll is individually boxed.
