Description of SCIGRIP 10799 3 Acrylic Solvent Cement, Low-VOC, Water-Thin And Very Fast Setting, Clear, 1/4 Pint (4 Fl Oz)

Water-thin solvent cement for boding acrylic. Creates strong, very fast drying bonds and is ideal for use when seamless joints are required in acrylic fabrication projects. Low VOC content. Also bonds with other thermoplastics such as polystyrene, CAB (cellulose acetate butyrate), PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) and polycarbonate to themselves. Will not bond to cross linked acrylics

The lid has a good gasket that does not get hard in the cold .

I do not use this very much so I keep it in the freezer to lower its volatility. It has lasted for several months and does not seem to be losing any volume. The lid has a good gasket that does not get hard in the cold temperature. It glues acrylic and polycarbonate perfectly.

Superest glue for Acrylics!

Wow this solution really bonds acrylic well! It's sooo cool to see it seep between the sheets and in seconds the pieces are as if they were made like that. I created a 40"X25"X11" terrarium for my kids and it held up very well! i AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS PRODUCT! I'm creating another one for a friend and I think I'll be needing more so I am going to the same company to get more. THeir product came a day earlier than scheduled and for the price you can't beat this product! Very happy.

Good glue, sucky can

The can sucks. It is sealed and the poor sucks when you break the metal seal.On the upside these probably last forever if they aren't opened.The glue works on acrylic as expected.

  • Just what I needed to cement Plexiglass. Works as advertised.

  • Cannot be used on oily or greasy surfaces

Works great on my acrylic and PLA

Works great on my 3D printer, both on acrylic and PLA. Must have if you're into building your PRUSA i3 with acrylic frame.

  • May not provide a strong enough hold for heavy or large items

Works great best in my review

Instanly bonded the acrylic I was working with. I was suprized very yhin like water. you might need a very small Syringe with micro small needle to use this for bonding with capliary gluing method
