Doesn't require a lot of weight

The bed in my RV tilts and I was hoping it would hold up. It happened a few times but no more. The end cap also pops out. Don't buy if you need to maintain weight.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Bought for our small camper trailer

Bought to keep our camper bed open so we can access the bottom storage. The non-slip ends are nice, but ours has collapsed twice while raising the bed. Luckily that happened to me and I managed to hold on to the bed before I got hit in the head. The twist lock doesn't seem to work or is too weak for our bedspread.

Pros
  • Lots of goodies
Cons
  • Weight

Works very well in garage and shop

Bought this for a weekend trip to the mountains with friends. My car is too high for both of us to reach the top racks and buckle our bag. This step is performed as described. It's heavy, durable, attaches easily to my tire and can handle over 200 pounds without incident. I love that it folds up and doesn't take up much space. It would be nice to have a case or bag for it. The prongs on the step are easy to scratch other items, keep this in mind when you put them in the trunk or luggageโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Weighs less than 5 pounds
Cons
  • Has issues

Firm feel, firm blocking pad.

When we bought the trailer I bought some cheap Camco pads. They get the job done, but I've never felt like they reliably block bike path/movement. Performance Tool 41001 pads hold the tire better and prevent wheel movement. You can see in the picture that the PT wedges match my tire tread better than the yellow Camco shoes. I think the PT will also be easier to remove because the tires won't roll over it like the Camco trailer does. no voids like I could see on some others. I park on gravel and

Pros
  • All weather construction with rubber pad
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
