There does not seem to be any quality control on the part of the manufacturer. I ordered two packs. Almost 50% were found unusable. 1) Most bad sleeves were too wide to fit in record sleeves because they aren't perfectly square - the sides bulge out because the glued side seams aren't perfectly straight. I have bought over 500 of these envelopes and can tell you that every second pack out of 100 has problems rendering 10% of them unusable. The paper is thin, the plastic is shaped like a bag and glued on both sides (which is necessary). Most problems occur when one side is off-center, causing the inner bag to not line up with the paper envelope. Worse, there are sleeves with glue in the pocket.
