Although I bought one size, I've worn old Barricades for many years, this new model is slightly wider and taller. I recommend taking half a size smaller than you are used to from Adidas.

After 2 weeks of use, one of the fabric holes for attaching the laces on the right shoe ripped and can no longer be repaired. Unusual to play as it feels like my foot is slipping out and they can no longer be tied properly.

I needed to buy a new pair of tennis shoes and this was exactly what I was looking for. I always want a wider toe box for my shoes, but I don't want them to be so big that I have to lace them weirdly to keep my foot in place while playing. The redesign of this shoe is perfect for me. They nestle snugly on my feet and are very comfortable to wear. No complaints. Would buy them again.

I ended up sending back the pair of Adidas Barricade 12 I had. After playing it twice I thought too many things could go wrong. If you have a fairly narrow foot, your tongue will slip and clench. The laces are pretty flimsy for those trying to really enclose them. The bounce in the rearfoot was very cushioned, but the heel was extremely bulky when moving. The forefoot is low to the ground for a good feel on court, but no cushioning really feels. It looks like a classic Barricade shoe, but it…
