I needed a backup charger for my Dell XPS 13 when I accidentally forgot the charger at work. I used to try to buy a universal USB-C charger from Best Buy, but Dell must have proprietary software that basically shuts down the computer when trying to do so. This charger I bought from Revain works great. Based on previous reviews I know it can fail at some point and if it does I will revisit this review. This 45W USB-C adapter works as expected, but its body is larger than the one that came with my XPS 13 9300 was delivered. So I use this one to power my desk but I use the one that came with my XPS as it takes up less space and weight in my travel case. The power cords are identical. Only used for a few days but so far so good.

Revain won't accept returns after 30 days and Dell's customer service is a nightmare. I will never buy a Dell laptop again. This charger does not come with a one-year warranty as the charger was not purchased directly from Dell. I found out about this after explaining the issue to 4 different "helpdesk" staff who were asking the same questions. Her hearing skills are severely deficient. Now I'm waiting for a call back.

i had problems with my dell xps13. The keyboard backlight came on, but then went off and nothing showed on the screen.
