I bought this monitor for my laptop and hooked it up today. I already had an HDMI cable and used that to connect. That's all you need to connect this monitor, along with the power cord. I had the issue of not hearing the external speakers I had plugged into the laptop, but I fixed that by right-clicking the speaker icon and selecting "Open Sound". I got one of the used options for $108 but it arrived in about a week and looks brand new. I had a Lenovo IPS monitor probably 7 years old and an old 2008 Asus TN that eventually died. When I put it next to my other IPS monitor it looks much better and sharper even though they are the same resolution. After taking it out of the box, it took my husband less than 10 minutes to set it up and get it up and running. Good economical monitor.

It arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to set up and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the beautiful colors. Worries me!

Beautiful and best monitor! You can orient the screen in landscape or portrait mode. Besides, the stand is also of good quality.

I use this monitor as an extended display for productivity and I am not disappointed. You don't need a monitor arm to adjust it to the desired height and angle. I like that the screen doesn't reflect light, which is an issue on my laptop screen. Good value for money.

I have tried 3 HP monitors prior to this Dell. I wish I had made that choice from the start. All the trouble could have been avoided.

I've only been using this monitor for three days but so far so good! I use it as a second monitor on my Toshiba laptop. I like the brightness of the monitor and the built-in USB hub. Initially I couldn't turn on the monitor, but I believe this was because my computer was still booting and Plug and Play was not enabled. Once turned on it worked great. I recommend this monitor. I bought this to replace a 14 year old Dell VGA monitor that was turning on and off.

In my opinion, Dell currently builds the best monitors from the major manufacturers. The design is great and the edges are narrow. For the money this is a really excellent monitor. It's durable, looks good, and frankly, it's cheap. I'm using it next to my TV as a dedicated Facetime/Skype display during these trying times of the coronavirus - looks good and works well (see image).

I bought this 21.5" Dell P-Series LED monitor as a secondary monitor to my 24" Dell P-Series monitor that I bought a few months ago. This is my third Dell P LED monitor. All three have excellent colors and brightness and no dead pixels. I appreciate the built in power supply and multiple input options. The monitor base/stand is solid and heavy and allows for many adjustments. Looks and feels high quality. I'm not a techie but these monitors suit me and I will definitely be buying another one.

I love that it has multiple input types and comes with multiple cables. Assembly and setup took a few minutes and was easy. The picture is excellent, the stand is adjustable. You can adjust the height and switch from portrait to landscape if needed. The only thing I don't like is the lack of built-in speakers. I didn't understand before ordering.

I have tried many monitors including other Dell monitors. This seems to give better text quality. As a programmer and writer, I recommend this monitor (especially if you can't rush an extravagant amount of money on monitors).

I have three of these on my desk and they suit me perfectly. I use them for work. It is exactly as advertised and very light without a stand. By the way, the stands are great as they allow for very easy adjustments and angles! (I used two of these before switching to a standing desk with three monitors)!

Need a good monitor for my new desktop computer. It is very clear and just the right size for my needs. Dell reliability needs years of service. Not sure about gaming skills. Not in my area.

Ideal size and resolution for remote work. I like the adjustable base along with the adjustable screen. Perfect for using with my outdated business laptop. Highly recommended.

This is a great replacement for my OLD (Win 7) Dell computer monitor. Nice and bright, easy to set up and customize. Has more "bells and whistles" than I need. It remains to be seen what the vertical rotation function will do.

It arrived on time, in perfect condition and was easy to assemble, one screw and that's it! I'm going to buy another one in January, it's a great monitor!
