Good but not great for power strips and surge protectors

The quality of this product is great but my only issue is the mounting holes don't match the Leviton 49605-30W RF Structure Housing I purchased. Despite this, this product is designed to be installed on the bottom of this case. I expected better.

  • This is great

Works perfectly! Best Accessories and Supplies

We installed this in a new 420 cabinet tonight and it works great (I mean I bring beer, flip burgers and my very handy friend and contractor Alex gets two discs out/low cutout section in 420 and inserting this plug-in component). He then took power from a nearby outlet and plugged it in. After that we connected a small extension cord, fixed it to the side and used the other two large inverter plugs for several of my components. It's nice to have electricity in the office!

  • Free for Education

Made for our textured media panel

We purchased a dual Leviton power supply with surge protection for use in a 28" Leviton textured media panel. We've done our low voltage wiring, but the power module was installed by an electrician and looks fine. This leaves more space in the box for the modem, router, switch, cable splitter and repeater, phone bridge panel, etc. Our house is still under construction so we haven't had a chance to test it yet, but expect it to work well. That's why we bought the Leviton brand, which was made…

New housings have different knockouts

housing knockouts no longer fit perfectly. The 42 inch Leviton case I purchased has two rectangular cutouts on the bottom separated by a narrow strip of metal that is not easy to remove. It's perfectly aligned. to slightly block access to one of the two middle exits. You'll either have to bend the strip aside or cut it separately - I don't have a big tool to remove it. module) sounds like there should be a big knockout there. It may have happened before, but now it doesn't seem true. a bit…

A good product to power your SMC

Last weekend my friend and I installed this power module and a 420 SMC case in my wall. While this module may seem overpriced at first glance, the included outlets alone (hospital surge protector) sell for about $30 a piece even at Revain's current $50; Throw in some tin and how much are you paying now? There is also a similar power module with regular (non-surge protector) outlets at a lower price. Seriously, there's not much to say about that. It fits into a cutout on the bottom of the SMC…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
