the printer has not yet "disagreed" with these cartridges, we have been using them for about 2 weeks, they work well, prints all black clear with no smudges and Color irregularities, and gives a clean print even with color printing. The copies look more intensely black than the original for some reason, but that's a plus. I don't know how long it will last but I will buy more.

Installed these in a brand new printer. The print quality was good for the first 100 pages, then streaks appeared and became illegible. This is not the first time this has happened with these cartridges. I will not buy again.

I had great reviews on these ink refills when I first installed them. After a couple of weeks I realized that you need to clean your printer when it's idle before you can get a good print job. Otherwise, as I said, the quality is bad. very bad. No, I was wrong. I go back to Mfg.

Given the price and the many (supposedly legitimate) good reviews I had high hopes for this ink. When it works, it prints fine. But that's not the norm. After leaving the printer idle for more than a few hours, the print becomes horrible - very faded, with large areas of little or no ink. I do not recommend this item. I bought them to save money instead of buying a branded product. The cartridge stopped working after a day. I then had to google how to get it out of my printer. My printer still thought the cartridge was full of ink. It was a burden!

I have 2 Canon Maxify series printers. I print A LOT for my work and have always chosen the ink compatible route. I bought tons of ink from another company that I've been using for years and it hasn't worked on either of my printers. So I tried this one instead. One ink cartridge worked in one printer and the other didn't work at all in the same printer I have in another room. No matter what I did and whatever steps I took to "fix the error", nothing worked. Therefore I award 3 out of 5 points.

These black 1200XL cartridges were not a good buy. After installing the first one and getting the striped print I tried a couple of times to give it a deep clean but no improvement. Tried second, same thing. I hope my printer isn't clogged up forever. I'll try another brand that I've used before and hope it's not good money after bad money. wish me luck.
