(for 15" Surface 3 laptop with Windows): While the lid snaps easily and properly into place, it is very difficult (almost impossible) to connect the charger and *stay* connected. The bar on the charger is stopped by a cover and cannot be aligned parallel to the laptop, so it can never be left plugged in. Otherwise good quality and it may work well for other laptops and devices. For Surface 3, however, this is a waste of money in my opinion.

Given that this is one of the few hard cases that fits the Surface Laptop 3, what's not to like about it? Snaps quickly and painlessly. Now I feel relieved knowing my laptop's bare skin has withstood the wind. I felt really weird just grabbing the straight screen to open the laptop every time. It took about 4 seconds to use. The little retractable legs at the bottom are really cool! Welcome surprise! We've bought laptops over $1500, they deserve coverage.

We really wanted to like this suitcase but had to send it back. Our issue is that due to the tabs, the case doesn't allow the computer to snap shut when closed, leaving the computer on and draining the battery. This only works if you turn off your computer every time you close it, which we don't. The one we received is a solid black matte (not transparent) and matches the Surface 3 laptop. This case has been installed on my Microsoft Surface for several days, so I can't comment on its durability. It was easy to install. A pink case over a black laptop might make the color orange, but I'm fine with that. I just needed a little external protection for my Surface and this case fits the bill. It took me a few tries to find a case that matched this particular finish.
