    Doesn't stop.: my review

    I liked it when I first got it. I work from home so it was nice to have a second screen that I can take anywhere in my house. It worked fine initially, but after about a month connection problems started. I would get a white screen with the Microsoft icon. Now it is very difficult to connect and it goes out in the middle of use. This is very annoying and I find it harder than it's worth. For the price I shouldn't have too much trouble with it, especially at first.

    Ever since I got the Duex Pro it hasn't worked. It lights up, then it goes off. I have a mid 2010 MacBook Pro with High Sierra. I downloaded DisplayLink v4.3. DisplayLink appears in Extensions, not the USB to DisplayLink Adapter. I'll try it on another computer and also buy a USB-C adapter as recommended in another review.     I'm so glad I found out about this before I bought additional monitors for my new work from home. It took me almost 20 minutes to set up the real screen and install the software and it saved my life.     WOW! WORKS WITH OLD MAC WITH USB

    Getting a desktop similar to using it with a second screen is pretty amazing. Also works great on my old Mac Air (no USB-C or Mac Air card) but this works great with no lag. The only downside is that the windows on the second screen are a bit small. I don't know how to enlarge the windows like on the main screen. also mirrors so you can use it as a monitor for presentations.     I like my new mobile display. Installation was easy and the picture is better than on my laptop 😏. Other than that, it's overpriced and the magnets work, but for almost $300 they don't need to be changed every 2-3 months.

    Magnets do not stick to the laptop

    The magnets do not stick to the back of the laptop, although the instructions that came with it were specifically followed. It didn't work as intended and advertised so I sent it back. PENDING UPDATE: The manufacturers of Duex were kind enough to contact me individually and send me a new SMALL model with more magnets. I'll see how this setting works and update it accordingly!

    Really comfortable! Customer service is also incredible. Not that you'd likely need it for the quality of the product. Only for compatibility issues with different computers. Two hours on the phone with an apple = goose egg. Emailing mobile pixels for five minutes = work.

    I liked it but not suitable for my computer.

    I sent the product back but I would have stuck with it if I had a C-Port on my computer. When I got it I was using a temporary new Mac and I just plugged it in and it works great. I liked the size, the weight, the screen... the only problem was when I had to download software onto my permanent computer that wasn't up to date and I couldn't determine the resolution. In general, you can buy.
