Love them because they keep foxtail stickers off my boots (I used to spend a lot of time picking them up). They also fit better than others I've bought that weren't big enough to wrap the floor well. I don't use them (nor do I care) so as not to get them dirty - just happy, happy I don't have to choose stickers anymore.

We use them when it rains to cover the quick release Ventech bandages our ancient Warmblood puts on each night. We use the large size. Although they are big, the elastic is too tight. So we solved this problem by adding Velcro between the two ends of the elastic to create a large circle around where the elastic snaps. Other than that, they seem to be working fine.

Love, love, love those shoe covers! We ride through fields full of foxtails and sagebrush. After we left, I spent at least an hour digging everything out of my SMB. With these shoe covers I usually have a pair of Velcro foxtails that come off in 30 seconds. Costs money! FYI, if your horse wears medium spats, buy medium spats, large spats, large spats. Easy to turn on and off.

Unfortunately this seller only accepts returns within 30 days and it fell apart in the 2nd month. The pair I had previously, which I bought direct from Professional's Choice, lasted about a year before the fabric wore out. They keep expensive shoes clean, they are very easy to wash or just rinse out; and dry quickly. That's why I gave the product 3 stars instead of 1
