Does exactly what you need as a freediver. Alarms for time and/or depth limits, an automatic timer for recommended surface intervals (which automatically triggers when you dive/surfacing!), even a thermometer! It's like a little computer on your wrist. I can focus more on what's in front of me. There's even a light for night diving! For these applications, the best at this price.

I've only used this watch to tell the time and have never been underwater. I felt that if I wore it every day I wouldn't be scared of it while freediving as I would be so familiar with it. BUT every time I move my wrist a certain way, time runs out and I have to reset it :) So yeah, I'm an expert on the damn watch for all the wrong reasons. It looks like a great spearfishing watch that will be very visible and easy to wear, but as a watch it sucks.
