Poor quality extension cord and surge protector

Lasted 3 months and it burned out at the wire connection, not due to over voltage but a bad connection and it ruined my fifth wheel wire

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Minor issues

00, that's a great price. I want to add this if .

All Van Stores sell this item for $169 so great value. I'd add that if you don't use a surge protector, you're definitely asking for hassle and expense to repair it. I think it's just worth the money.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Good but not great

2 years and done. in power filter

was damaged Just the other day I noticed that the green light is not on. According to the device, something is wrong with the power supply. I have been in seasonal camping for the last 2 years (same). The electrical box remains the same. When the lights went out, I asked the campsite to send an electrician. An electrician has gone out and made sure that the electricity in the box is all right. I think they are only good for 2 years.,

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions

Do not buy! suitable for mains filter

bad product! This surge protector stopped working during the second ride. The electrician examined it and found that only one of the two power lines had power. This disrupted the operation of the air conditioners. The seller only allows ownership for thirty days to qualify for a refund. Therefore I cannot return this defective product. The RV electrician also told me that he had seen two other identical surge protectors malfunctioning.

I wish someone would have recommended this to me a long time ago.

Great price. Works as it should. I like the indicator light. Tell if it is connected correctly or polarity is reversed or if there is a problem. Plugged in and Thunderstorm and it worked like a charm. This thing holds all your electronics and gadgets in your RV. We also use it for our Park Model trailer. You know it was saved as for home appliances. Can you imagine replacing the electric water heater in your motorhome? Hope that helps.

  • Nice packaging

  • Something different

Great product, suitable for power strips and surge protectors

Works great. I previously had a 30 amp model that saved the day while camping. It's worth noting that after reading the instructions, I noticed that it indicates (NOT protects against) incorrectly connected plugs. Shorted and misconnected plugs can easily ruin any item in your RV that requires 120VAC, you will be camping like it was 1899. I would recommend the following procedure: 1. If possible, turn off the circuit breaker and close the surge protector separately on.2. Turn on the switch and…

WE WILL NOT STOP THE WAVE!

Purchased for my 5th wheel on 15th November 2018. On 15th July 2019 the mast I was connected to at my RV location shorted out and as I sat in my bedroom I heard in front of me a soft popping and hissing/sleeping. I jumped up to turn off a small table fan (I thought it was dead), but then thick black smoke started pouring out from the bottom of my wall-mounted TV and ignited inside. He unplugged the TV, put it out with a fire extinguisher, went outside and flipped the switch on the pole. TV…

Works well!

I like it so far, I've worn it for 1.5 months. I worry when it starts raining and I think I'll build something to cover it during the rainy season to keep the rain out. Some reviews say that this device gets clogged with water and fails. It's rainy season now, I've had this surge filter for 9 months. I covered the surge protector and cable connector with a heavy plastic bag. I see that the bag has deteriorated and the connection is exposed to the rain. This protector has blocked splash 2-3…

This 50 amp surge protector is a great product and has worked well

OK I see a lot of negative and positive reviews on this product. We've had 2 since 2015 and have camped almost every weekend so it's always in action whatever the weather. Rain, snow, ice, snow, hot sun, -5 degrees, all conditions. We have a 38 foot TT and it has saved our electrical system multiple times. After being badly damaged by a thunderstorm the Surge saved our electrics but as this item cannot be reset we had to replace it which was not a problem for me as it served its purpose. There…

OK, first of all I love Revane. I don't blame them.

OK, first of all, I love Revain. I don't blame them in any way. I got this surge protector by plugging it in and I got down to my job of hooking up drains and water. Came back in our RV and was enveloped in smoke. Smoke was coming out of our tanks and out of the computer surge protector, which was on fire. The control board of our electric fireplace has burned out. After going outside to check the socket where the surge protector was plugged in, I decided to unplug and try without that plug and
