Works great. I previously had a 30 amp model that saved the day while camping. It's worth noting that after reading the instructions, I noticed that it indicates (NOT protects against) incorrectly connected plugs. Shorted and misconnected plugs can easily ruin any item in your RV that requires 120VAC, you will be camping like it was 1899. I would recommend the following procedure: 1. If possible, turn off the circuit breaker and close the surge protector separately on.2. Turn on the switch and check the indicator lights to make sure the plug is properly connected. (If not, do not plug in your RV!) 3. Turn off the switch and plug in the RV.4 power cord. Turn on the switch and enjoy camping!
