Warning. check something first

This is a very durable and high quality product. but there is a problem that deserves attention. The Vesa adapter plate is not square, it has a metal tab that protrudes from the bottom of the plate where the strap attaches. If your monitor's vesa plate is recessed into the monitor (like many) then it won't fit. it doesn't go into the recess. If your monitor has a flush Vesa mount or one that protrudes from the monitor body, it should work just fine.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use

  • thin

Grips for AOC 32 " curved monitor

I took a chance that it would support AOC's 32" curved monitor and it works great. The original AOC stand was an odd tripod-like stand that raised the monitor too high for my needs. While I can't use much of the flexibility of this stand due to the size of the monitor, it works great when the monitor is tilted back slightly. The stand is strong, stable, nothing threatens the monitor. My monitor weighs just over 13 pounds, which is probably the maximum this stand can handle if you just want it…

Good solid monitor stand Accessory

This stand is heavy and very stable. It easily supports a 15-inch monitor, and I suspect it can easily handle larger sizes too. The kickstand seems geared towards stable support for touchscreen devices - it's a little tricky to tilt and adjust the kickstand, but it hits the spot. You would like if you needed to support touchscreen kiosks etc. There are even screw hole mounts on the bottom of the stand to attach the base to a wall or table. but it's actually smaller than many competing stands…

Great for low profile applications and very durable

My company cares a lot about aesthetics and doesn't like monitors that overhang reception desks as you can see in the photos. This stand is great for keeping monitors looking unobtrusive. It is extremely strong and durable. I'm sure a much larger monitor would be great for this as it's extremely durable if it supports VESA 75x or 100x. I installed a Planar PXN2400 on it (highly recommend, 24" monitor is very nice and minimalistic) and it looks amazing. My only complaint is that the rubber feet…

Strong attachment even with very heavy monitor

Exactly what it is meant to be. I think there are other reviews complaining about the stiffness of this thing, but it should be really stiff. I have an old HP 21-inch touchscreen monitor that I wanted to turn into a poor man's Surface Studio, and it was the obvious choice. That and installing audio/photo editing software on the monitor. I can bang the beat pretty aggressively in Fruity Loops on my touchscreen monitor and this mount holds it firmly in place. Once you get the angle right, it's…

Exactly what I wanted most in monitor stands

I have neck problems and thought I would be stuck with laptops forever. I can no longer use my desktop with an external monitor as most monitors are too tall on the stand they are on. I have an old Acer 15 inch LCD monitor but it is too tall with the factory monitor stand. Until recently, I wasn't even aware of aftermarket monitor stands that mimic a factory stand. I've seen THIS particular stand can be as low as you. That's exactly what I wanted. He came yesterday. Once configured it does…

  • Brilliantly made

Sometimes you have to get creative. . .

Like other reviewers, I wanted my PC monitor to be lower. I've already achieved a "lower" setting by cutting a hole in the top of my PC stand and using the included stand to mount the monitor on the keyboard tray. But the limit of this setup was the top of the PC stand. This VESA stand allowed me to lower the monitor even lower. Yes, the hinges are rigid, but they have to be. And it's easy enough to loosen the hinge tension on the tilt-control VESA mount. After removing the plastic cover…

Finger adjustable screws would make it perfect

The pivot screws are pretty tight right out of the box. Unless you're Hercules, all you have to do is loosen the screws a bit. All that is required for this is an open-end wrench. but not everyone had a bunch of keys lying around. If the device was designed to be adjusted, it would have been fitted with finger adjustable nuts. After setting. The loop opens and stays in place. I use a 13 inch touch screen and I can work all day without moving the stand. As a mobile office tool, this stand…
