Great for Nursing School

Not sure what specialty you want to go into when you graduate as a nurse? While you figure out if cardiology or ICU is going to be your "thing", I recommend this inexpensive stethoscope to use in clinicals! It's not going to get you the most clear, "fine" tones, but you will hear crackles, rhonchi, and even MV regurge (if it's not too subtle). So save that graduation gift of a really expensive stethoscope for after you've decided you'll actually need it. This stethoscope is fine for learners!

Pros
  • Great product. Highly suitable for nurses and MDs. Clear sounds of lungs and heart. Very useful
Cons
  • I have a big head and tiny ear holes so this is uncomfortable. But I can hear well

Chosen by RN daughter

I'm just learning to use the stethoscope for BP readings due to husbands illness. . Sound is clear. I learned from medical professionals that electronic bp units are inaccurate . So I welcome this.

Pros
  • Very nice product for the price. Ear pieces are a little uncomfortable but it does the job.
Cons
  • The tubing may become brittle over time with repeated use

ADC Is Where It's At

I bought an ADC stethoscope many, many years ago in nursing school. It was the best scope, much better than the Littmann's all the others were using IMO. But I ended up leaving it behind at a job, and it "disappeared". I ended up getting some sort of generic cardiac stethoscope about 5 years ago, and while it has served it's purpose, I knew I needed to get back to the ADC brand. This stethoscope is excellent. Very lightweight- it almost doesn't feel like I have anything around my neck! The bell…

Pros
  • I love how lightweight it is ! You can hear very clearly
Cons
  • The turquoise color may not be appealing to all clinicians

Works great best in my review

I have a newborn, and I'm scared of everything that could go wrong. These helped ease my mind on respiratory problems. Baby's grunt and make lots of strange noises. Hard to tell what's normal and what's problematic. Thanks for an affordable & reliable product!

Pros
  • Lite weight. Good sounds.
Cons
  • The sound quality may not be as clear as other stethoscopes on the market

Good Quality for the Low Price !

I use this product for nursing school and love it! I have been looking at the expensive ones and happen to come across this product! Not only is it functional, but it looks professional and nice around my neck ! Defiantly a good buy and would reccomend to CNAs or Nursing students

Pros
  • I really like my new stethoscope. Very nice and good quality sound.
Cons
  • The stethoscope may become easily tangled or twisted

Adscope 609V good for me

I am a nursing student so I didn't want to spend a fortune on a stethoscope. For that reason, the steth is fine. I am experiencing some major Littman jealousy, though. It's a fine stethoscope, just not something I'd want to use long-term. The acoustics aren't great (especially after you've listened through a higher-end Littman or similar stethoscope), but they're enough to take an accurate blood pressure, hear lung sounds, and take an apical pulse. Don't expect to be able to hear particularly…

Pros
  • And it arrived on time, unlike the other stethoscopes I ordered
Cons
  • The tubing may be too short for some users

Easy listening! good for me

Not the exact color I expected (I think I misread), but cute and fun. Working with kids I wanted something that looked friendly, but still had good function. Very happy so far!

Pros
  • The ear peice is a little uncomfterble but works well after a while
Cons
  • The stethoscope may not be compatible with some electronic devices

May not suit your purpose

My wife is an RN and needed a new stethoscope. We bought a few different models of the adscope (603; 608; 619) as welll littman classic 3.We tested them by listening heart and lung sounds. Heart sound all of them performed well. But for lung sounds, this model 619 performed the least among all of them, but it is also the lightest. The 603 and classic 3 were on par with each other, and were the best. Are there differences? Yes. Is that big enough to make a difference in your needs? You will need…

Pros
  • Well made, doesn’t feel cheap
Cons
  • The ear tips may wear out quickly with repeated use

Good sound, super light

This is exactly what i needed, I just started a job as a medical assistant so I needed a stethoscope for vital signs. It makes it easy to hear bps which is all I need it for but I love it! Such a cute color too

Pros
  • Thanks
Cons
  • As it states it is very lightweight but sound quality inferior.

Practical and Useful, but the color comes off.

I love this stethoscope. I am a nurse, and I am able to make accurate assessments and it doesn't get in the way as I do my other work.Maybe it's because I have been cleaning it, or maybe it is because the stethoscope sits against my skin on my neck for 12 hours, but parts of the pink have faded to grey. It looks kinda gross, but it works great so I'm still going to use it.

Pros
  • Sound quality is very low
Cons
  • The ultra-lightweight design may make it easy to lose or misplace

Great sound quality

Great sound quality I am a nurse and I am always losing my stuff therefore I didn’t want to spend a lot of money in a stethoscope. I am surprised of the sound quality but it

Pros
  • good price
Cons
  • The ear tips may become uncomfortable after extended use

Lightweight and inexpensive

If there is anything worse than a doc walking off with your pen, it’s a doc walking off with your expensive Littmann. So I was tasked with finding a quality new stethoscope that is unique (hoping the purple won’t appeal to most docs) and affordable (just in case it does - and I end up needing to replace it again). This, along with a cute little tag, has done the trick. It’s super light weight which is nice, and while the sound quality isn’t quite up to Littmann standard, it’s perfectly suitable

Pros
  • I thought it would work better. Its ok
Cons
  • The stethoscope may not be comfortable to wear for extended periods

Pros
  • Very light!
Cons
  • The stethoscope may not be suitable for use in humid environments

works great: my feedback

My wife purchased this, she is a Medical Assistant, she says this is a great product for the price, she was intending to get another Littman but ended up purchasing this off or reviews and she isn't disappointed

Pros
  • Great sound quality!
Cons
  • The tunable AFD technology may be too complicated for some clinicians

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just in case good for me

I’m not a nurse or doctor, just a mom who wanted a stethoscope to check on her baby when she was sick. Seems perfect for what I bought it for.

Pros
  • ADC brand is always great sound and durability. But anything is better in gold.
Cons
  • The ultra-lightweight design may make it difficult to hear low-frequency sounds

Good value. in my review

I needed to replace my stethoscope, and this one is just fine for my needs. This one I keep at home, and I bought a second one, as I keep one in my truck (retired nurse.always want to be ready).

Pros
  • Did the job and quality was good
Cons
  • Eh. It’s okay I suppose, better to spend the extra money & get the better ones tho.

ADC makes quality stethoscopes

I love this ADC stethoscope! My previous ADC stethoscope I had for 18 years, and I decided to finally retire it and get a newer one for work. I especially like how long the tubing is. I can hear very clearly while doing my assessments and vitals. It is not too heavy to wear around my neck all day. I chose the aqua color this time and it is such a stunning color. It may be 2-3x cheaper than some other well-known stethoscope brand, but it works just as well on my opinion.

Pros
  • I will purchase again
Cons
  • The turquoise color may attract unwanted attention during patient exams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works Well in my review

Works like it intended too. Overall sound quality very good and works better than any other non "littman” product. If you can’t afford one of those then this is your best bet, at getting something that you can use until you can get one! So far so good, no complaints.

Pros
  • This stethoscope is perfect for my EMT training.
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for some budgets

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Light, great color and Sound

I loved that the sound was clear, and also I felt like when in the ears the quay of the sound barrier to block out the noise was muffled real good. I also loved the color, it really moves the patients eye away from me taking the pulse . It light enough that I was looking for it and it was around my neck.

Pros
  • I would buy this before spending more on more well known brands
Cons
  • The ultra-lightweight design may feel flimsy and not as durable

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sound quality

I am a home health nurse and usually patients have alot going on in their home and it makes it hard to auscultate anything. But this stethoscope does the job. I heard lung sounds and heartbeats without difficulty! Definitely will be buying another one 😊😊

Pros
  • I am in EMT training and needed this. Works great and seems to be a good purchase for my classes.
Cons
  • The tunable AFD technology may be too sensitive for some users
