These shoes look great and fit well for our trip. I bought these for my son for our trip to Colorado. He used them for hiking and snow and had no complaints. I was really impressed with the look and quality of the shoes! I would definitely order them again. The size fitted very well.

I bought these boots for my 3 year old son. These are incredibly strong and durable winter boots. I was expecting them to be more like work boots but they are more like winter boots. He loves them and they fit very well.

They had great reviews. I am extremely disappointed. Ours is less than 2 months old. They are completely worn out. I know our kid is very energetic and we take quite long walks, but I didn't expect the soles to wear out completely in such a short time.

The product description is accurate, the construction looks and feels solid, the fit is comfortable and my kid loves it! Can't compete with the price which I know will grow out in a few months.

My son loves these boots. Definitely a great buy. At the bottom of the shoe there is an option to flip the metal piece to make it easier to walk on ice, which is really cool.

My son had them less than a month and the blue had already fallen off, he was only allowed to wear them to school (only about 12 days) and they didn't even really have time to play outside! Don't waste money!

The bottom part broke off immediately after the shoes were taken out of the box. Luckily we were able to get it back in place. My son said that after a walk they felt comfortable.

My 9 year old loved this style but after trying them on he said they would pinch his leg so we had to send them back. The boot appeared to be well made and looked great.

I bought these shoes for my son. In less than two months, the bottom of a boot came off. He only wore them to school and other shoes outside of school. I do not recommend. Not good quality

Buy 2 pairs for the kids to use on our hikes in the Adirondacks. They are a bit big so take that into account. My only son wears size 4 sneakers and we bought him size 4 boots which are more like a 4.5 but you can lace them up tight enough so they don't snag the heel slip. As long as they hold up well.

We didn't want anything that would keep us warm when hiking in warm weather. This will not suit us since we live in the desert. I chose them because they are cheaper than our regular brands, have a velcro closure and have been told they are waterproof. We will come back and just pay more for Merell or Hi-Tec kids walking shoes as they were not hot to wear and proved waterproof. It costs an additional $15.

This is my 3rd pair of boots for a boy from this manufacturer. I'm an older woman who loves the fit and functionality of these boots. I'm just saying you don't have to be a boy to buy and wear them. I get them in size 6.5 (I usually wear 7.5 or 8 for women's shoes) and they are wide enough for my not narrow feet. Perfect fit as I can wear thicker socks with it. They have a small metal clip at the bottom to flip them over when it's slippery. And, very reasonable price. What else would you like…

Nice sturdy boot. Doesn't look or feel cheap. I wanted something for my 3 year old so he could hike the trails with his dad. His sneakers were too small for him, he got wet all the time and his winter boots were too big. You were perfect. I ordered a half size up hoping they'll make it by fall. You can't check your toe because it's heavy, but as soon as I saw it walk I knew it was good. I am very happy with it. And they are cute. So the boot is solid. It doesn't go through the sole, but metal (yes, it's a metal ice ax) won't hit the ground unless you seriously wear down the soles of the boot themselves. Which, frankly, would be impressive if you did. The only complaint is that the upper doesn't pull well and is just tight enough, but not firm enough (if that makes sense) to rub against the skin and irritate or even damage the skin of the foot where the upper is chafed.
