Minnesotans here. I took them for the first time in October when the temperature was 20 degrees. Difficult for a 4 year old to put on and take off by himself. Said they hurt and were tight but might need to be taken apart as he had no discomfort when outside and busy with the snow/sled. Keeps him warm and dry. So they reached him up to the middle of the lower leg.

Can I return these boots? I bought them before it snowed in Minnesota and we can't put them on my son's feet. They don't open wide enough to stick to his leg. I still have tags on it. Please let me know.

Got them for one of my kids. Now I want to get a pair for all my other children. Great boot with removable inner workings. Would definitely buy again.

I have been buying shoes from this brand for my children for several years. They are great for outdoor play at home and at school. My boys don't complain about wet or cold feet. They don't lift your feet when you walk, so the soles wear out after a few years of use. But there is no sole suitable for children who drag their feet.

They are undersized. I usually take winter boots up a size so they last a few winters. My son (7) wears a size 2 or 3 depending on the brand and we had to take a size 4 for it to fit. I don't think he'll be able to put them in next winter.

We bought them for our daughter in November and in less than four months a hole appeared in the heel and her foot was wet and cold. Not sure if it's just a bad pair, if the quality in general has really gone down - we've been buying Kamik boots for years.

I was very impressed with the quality of these boots. Bought for 9 and 8 year old boys. They also wear them without snow, with and without socks. They wouldn't wear them as often if they didn't like them. Trust me, they are picky kids

Received 2 left shoes. Return not possible. Cannot be worn like this. Disappointed that I have to buy more shoes. Otherwise we've bought these boots several times and when you get a left boot and a right boot, they're warm, waterproof and can withstand cold winters and adventurous kids!

Bought these for a New England winter a few months ago and they fit my baby perfectly! No cold or wet feet and they have retained their colour/texture despite my child manhandling many of their shoes roughly. Robust and high-quality shoes!

I got the size for my 3 year old and they fit perfectly. Couldn't put on socks at her normal size. They are warm and snuggly and easy to step into, love them!

According to my granddaughter, they are really waterproof and very comfortable. They are also suitable for rainy spring walks.

This is our second pair in this style from Kamik. The removable wool lining is soft and warm. The sole and bottom of the foot are well constructed and have never leaked. It doesn't have much flexibility, so stomp them a bit. My son loves the light color and says they are comfortable. We bought a smaller brand last year and they couldn't go a day without getting wet.

I ordered these as part of a pre-purchase trial and they are a great option. However, my daughter chose a different shoe so we ended up sending them back just because she didn't like the color.

It came when the snow stopped but was still piling up! Slip his little poop over his jeans, tug on the drawstring so it fits snugly around his legs and is perfect for my grand baby! Thanks

"Wide" is NOT wide. Very deceptive. Don't buy if your child has wide feet, they will return it. We bought Keen Snow Troll boots which turned out to be much better.

My child has a slightly wider foot and they were too narrow for him even though they were the right length. This product also doesn't offer free returns/exchanges, which was disappointing.

First I ordered a whole size bigger. I took out the insert to see how it fit on his leg, it was too snug and tight, the top of his "t-shirt" was pinched in a V at the top of the insert. They looked like tiny elf slippers, very oddly shaped and not made for plump children's feet. These boots were so chunky that I had a hard time putting the insert back in, let alone getting my foot in. We opted for the Kamiks Snowbug 3 instead and were much happier.

My boy liked it at first when he got it but didn't want to wear it the next rainy day because it was not comfortable and heavy for him. It fits its size but is a bit stiff and heavy.

These boots are ideal for snow. They keep my boys feet warm and toasty even without socks (the boot has a removable wool lining) in the New York winter. I used the sizing from the website and I think they fit true to size, but with the addition of an insock I would order a size (or two) bigger next time. When the snow turns to slush these boots are disappointing as they leak and the inside gets so wet I had to remove the liner to wash and hang dry. As such, they are not all-round winter boots…

Love Kamik boots! My children are different sizes. I keep buying when they outgrow their current size because they are in the past! My daughter now has a used pair from a friend and she is the third girl to wear them. Not only do they look very popular, but they have withstood our VT winters for several years.
