Fun interactive globe for kids

This globe is awesome! I bought this for my kids ages 4 and 8 as my husband travels a lot around the world and I thought it would be a fun way for them to understand where he is in the world and the routes he takes, to get there and home. It was a HUGE HIT with both my kids and they've been fighting for it since it came out a few days ago!

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Many things

Cute but expensive

Bought for my son (4 years old) who is currently homeschooled. It's very cute and he really likes to look at it. However, there's not much you can do about it and I really don't think it's worth $20-23. I watched it for several months until the price dropped to $10. It's of good quality, but given the limited use, I don't think it justifies the high price.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Empty

I really love this globe, but.

There are a few things I'd like to fix. 1) The children immediately noticed that the color of the words corresponds to their continent and the holes have a different shape for each continent. Although it's self-correcting, I wish there was a way to make it more complex. 2) Antarctica cannot be removed and is not easy to spot as there is a roller coaster. We still love it and use it regularly.

Pros
  • Great design

Geography Fun for Geographic Globes

My 4 year old loves it. She was constantly disassembling and reassembling it. This is a fun geography lesson as we are talking about different continents. Each continent has little pictures to help her make connections. The continents are connected by pins of different shapes, and their names are the same color, so some basic skills will be repeated here. Love it. I look forward to taking it to school and trying it out at my special education center.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • So Far So Good

The puzzle has no rhyme or meaning.

When I told my 3.5 year old granddaughter that the world is round, she said she didn't believe me and would ask her mother. I thought this globe would be like a jigsaw puzzle and she would understand the earth better. This is not a riddle. These are 6 (not 7) parts of the continent that are difficult to slot into. There is no reason or rhyme as to which part goes with which slot. From the age of 3.5 years, a normal globe makes more sense. Send back.

  • good thing

The missing piece of the best in learning and education

Again I am disappointed as not all parts came with a birthday present for my 4 year old and the return window is closed. I bought a gift in advance and now the window is closed. My son loved the gift and wants to play but is frustrated when South America won't stay in place due to a missing white piece holding the puzzle piece in place so he just didn't want to play with it anymore and just got it . He says he's broken. So we are very disappointed as we bought both gifts from Revain this year…

Cute but expensive

I homeschool my 5 year old son and while we love the world it is overpriced. very easy. No noises or anything like that. Its quality is just okay. For the price I probably expected something nicer. They don't even have a puzzle piece or label for Antarctica! You literally have to pick up the globe and look under it to see where it will be. But there is no label or puzzle like on other continents, which is also quite disappointing. I'm usually very fond of a brand of learning resources, but this
