👟 Mephisto Women's Yael Oxford Shoes Review

If you're working in the garden on a cold and damp morning, these shoes are a must. My feet stay dry and warm. And of course, great support throughout the day is always a huge plus. They are true to size. My size 7 or 37uk was perfect. It was a bit tight at first, but the genuine leather stretches perfectly.

I really wanted these shoes to work as they are perfect for the long walk ahead. The marbled metallic color was beautiful and they were beautifully made. However, they were too tight at the top and I noticed that my toes would chafe painfully after a short time. A larger size wouldn't fix the situation - the toe piece was already long enough - so they just went back.

This shoe is adorable. The skin is beautiful and buttery soft. The insole is wonderful; it makes you want to run! The toe box is designed to conform to your fingers as if you were barefoot. Just the right place to move and feel your knuckles move. Unfortunately my heel slipped a bit. I tried adding a 1/8" thick insole but it still wasn't quite right. So glad I tried! I love the fit and support of the insole of this shoe. The heel hugs my heel and the arch fits perfectly. I like that the heels of the shoes are cut a little lower than some of my shoes so they don't dig into the ankle at all. I would like a little more padding in the front of the shoe. I added a thin insole at the front. I sprayed the shoes with weatherproofing but I'm afraid it will be difficult to clean them when needed. A longtime Mephisto fan. But some of their old styles are frankly iffy. I ordered them for a trip to Tokyo as they look trendy and comfortable. My feet are on the narrow side with a high arch. They are very comfortable to wear all day long.
