Creates a rainbow! for optics

I bought these to teach my 6 year old daughter the principles of light and how rainbows are formed. The two triangular ones form a rainbow with a ray of sunshine falling through the windows, she had a lot of fun with that. As a bonus, the glass ball rolls pretty smoothly across our hardwood floor and she had fun with it too :) She then used the square block to build Elsa's frozen castle with the rest of her Legos. They chipped right away, every detail.

They were chipped when my grandchildren first took them out of the box to look at them, I have no idea how. These are A students who were taught to take care of more fragile things and to respect other people's property. Are they really *that* fragile? Phew, so disappointed. I wanted something to display but also older kids (ages 10 and 15) can take it off and use and enjoy with supervision. They loved them, but they were all microchipped. bad party? Not that they're a particularly cheap price!

Clear pieces of glass are what you get

Bought this item to talk about the light spectrum and the prism effect with light. Received them only to be very disappointed. All images associated with this item are incorrect. They are NOT Prism. Tried natural sunlight, flashes (big, small, LED, regular bulbs. Even a laser to see if I'm getting EVERYTHING) but all I'm getting is white light in and white light out. Zero prism effect on one of the objects. Even the ball was a little overwhelming. If your goal is clear glass, then they will…
