Worked 10 months, then broke.

This doorbell initially worked very well. One problem was from my dog. He liked to thump his paw, although I put it at nose level and exercised on a yellow pad with treats and peanut butter. His fingernails got stuck in the hole in the middle used for handing out treats during practice. However, my other dog found out pretty quickly and used his nose to ring. This doesn't affect my review of the product, but I wanted others to know if they have dogs that prefer using their paws. The big problem

Great for potty training our pug.

Our 5 month old pug knows he shouldn't do his business indoors. At least he's trained that well. However, it is very difficult for us to get him to tell us that he needs to go outside to do his own thing. With that little doorbell at nose level, he picked it up during the day and the house hasn't had an accident since. pressed, pressed and pulled out. My wife and I spent a month teaching our cat to use the Pebble Smart Doggie Doorbell. We've had mixed results, but we also believe we've made significant progress.
