The operation of this product was poorly designed. The control panel does not light up and is not visible in the dark, which usually happens when we sleep with the lights off. The cable was too short, making it difficult to reach the controller. Very comfortable blanket with bad operations. It was returned and replaced with a basic digital reader which also keeps me warm.

I have used this electric blanket several times within a month of purchase. He was lying flat on my bed. It warmed up the first few times, gradually warmed up less, and then stopped working altogether. I turned it off after each use. Serta was a well known brand that I could trust. No longer. We use a duvet on our double bed. The duvet is the perfect weight and very warm. The problem is that the control cables are not long enough. I am always cold and sleep under an electric blanket all year round. What I really like is its lightness and quick heating. With most quilts I have to blow the highest number to get the kind of warmth we had before the 1980's. I turn this blanket on 7 to preheat, then quickly turn it down to 5 and 3 and set the timer.
