Splash Proof Player Radio Integrated Mirror Review

Bought brand new. I just wanted a basic CD player. The CD player just made strange noises and didn't work at all. The disk didn't even spin, it just made weird noises. I strongly advise you not to bend over and "try" because you are wasting your time. I have seen similar reviews for other products from this company. I would avoid JWIN at all costs (company wide).

Heavier than I thought and less useful than I expected. Too big to be considered truly portable, and its round shape and thickness give it a chunky feel that I don't really associate with something that can be hung over a shower head. The sound is just about okay, but what can you expect from the tiny built-in speakers? I really don't blame the manufacturer for releasing the product. Rather, it's my fault for expecting more (comfort) and less (height/weight).

I don't use a mirror at all. What I particularly wanted was a device that could play CDs. I keep it in the back of the toilet and don't take it in the shower. One thing I either didn't read or really didn't understand is that this device doesn't come with an AC adapter. I took the unit to Radio Shack and they installed it, which cost me $25. My main reason for buying it was to listen to relaxing CDs in the bath. I have had other CD players but the humidity in the bathroom ruins them over time…
