Efficient attachment for easy loading

There was no problem securing the 16ft canoe with the strap on the roof of our car as it is heavy duty and easily slips under the hood and under the hood when in use Sunroof fits with paracord. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Only available in white

There was no place to insert a loop and close the hood

At first I thought this would not work on my 2015 Toyota Highlander. There was no room to insert a loop and close the hood. Not so, perfect fit and perfect function. Great solution to the tie problem

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are negatives

Fast, easy, uncomplicated!

If your car is like most cars these days, mounting points are difficult if not impossible to find. These Quick Loops make it easy to toss the kayak onto the vehicle by providing quick and secure attachment points for the bow and stern cables. Very glad I decided to buy them, you can't go wrong!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Minor problems

The ideal solution for stabilizing the front of a canoe or kayak.

Ideal solution for stabilizing the front of a canoe or kayak on a roof rack. I use them on a Subaru Outback and the result is better than any other setup I've had. The straps are fully secured under the hood and neither the hood nor the fender seem to deform. What a great invention.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some problems

Right!: Tow hook and strap

A handy item when tying a canoe or kayak to the roof of your car. A piece of black rubber fits into your hood and then you can tie down the front of the canoe to prevent the wind from picking it up and blowing it off the car and with extra straps at the top to keep the load stable. Just the right size and color to match our truck!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Includes negative sign

A smart idea, but slipped after a 2.5-hour drive

They slip and don't stay in place. Used them on a 2.5 hour motorway trip as part of a very secure set of multiple ratchet straps and also to hold 2 double box springs on a Subaru roof rack. It's a good idea, but they slipped and had to be adjusted when moving. I wish I had bought a Thule version with the hub and bolted on instead.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

My husband and I love these. These quick loop straps do just that.

My husband and I love them. These quick loops make tying up our canoe so much easier! There is no place in the front of the car to fasten our seat belts. They fit under the hood and make our big canoe very stable. My husband was very confident driving our truck's canoe from regular to high speed!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great for tying the nose of my canoe

I use two of these under the hood of my 2017 Mazda CX-5. They fit snugly in the grooves in the gasket around the hood opening on each side of the hood. The use of both creates a two-point lateral attachment at the front of the canoe and provides more stability during movement. While this system is very easy to use and works well, I have found that the plastic anchor loops get a little sticky on a hot day. So far they haven't gotten stuck under the hood and I hope they don't. ;^)

  • Great price

Simple, efficient and durable.

I have used these with my Buick Lesabre when carrying my canoe and alternating my kayak on the roof rack. I was able to use Thule 529 straps under the hood with fender bolts, but I couldn't find the right bolts for the truck, so I needed another solution to tie down the stern of the boat. There are also no convenient attachment points on or under the bumper, so use the Thule 530 Quick Loop Strap. I wasn't sure if this was the right way to place them, but they worked flawlessly for multiple…
