In most client core wallet, the user have to download the entire blockchain, inorder to gain access to full security of the wallet. The initial downloading of the blockchain consumes alot of time and data. But  in Monero GUI wallet, the user doesn't have to download this blockchain. All he needs is the GUI wallet, to provide security and store the Monero currency. Then the Daemon, to communicate with the network and give the user update on new transactions.
The Monero GUI wallet only stores one Cryptocurrency, which is the Monero currency. It provides privacy and security to the Monero tokens. Making it a secure and friendly platform for Monero Cryptocurrency.﻿
