Elastos is just what many have been waiting a long time for. Many people agree that there needs to be a change in how the world is connected and how corporations that have all the control make money off of the users of the internet. With Elastos, the power is in the hands of the users and not the corporations, as power is not centralized to those who have the most money. This project will take a long time to manifest, but it has the potential to be the rare platform that actually changes the world that we currently live in. The future can be imagined as much brighter with Elastos in worldwide use.
Pros
- The idea to reinvent the internet as we know it is quite enthusiastic, ambitious and downright beautiful! The internet is controlled by greedy corporations who feed personal information to entities that wish to utilize this info in various ways - often in rather nefarious ways - to affect our lives. With this project, Elastos aims to give the control back to the community which uses the new internet by building it brick by brick around the world. The scale and complexity of this project is massive and the team is committed to seeing it through. This project is clearly something that the Elastos team and community believe in.
Cons
- Honestly, the hardware has to be purchased and implemented in order to have the scaling necessary to build this new internet. Without massive participation and adoption, the grand ideas of the Elastos project will not come to fruition. This project is not going to be an overnight success by any means, which indicates that investors and enthusiasts alike must be religiously patient toward this project's progress in the coming months and years.
