Excellent lock, very strong

What can I say about the cable and the lock. It fits my Acer 15.6" Aspire laptop perfectly. The lock slides smoothly and is easy to attach/detach. So far it seems to do the job of protecting my laptop from sticky fingers πŸ˜‰ Glad I did opted for the button lock instead of the combination.I've heard a lot of bad stories about the combination lock getting stuck. And it comes with 2 keys so just keep a spare in a safe place and you don't have to worry, that you lose it. I keep mine as a spare on car

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Peace of mind when traveling

As a freelance graphic artist, I also take my laptop with me on vacation for emergencies. It's a 17-inch MacBook Pro, so it's not small enough for a hotel safe, and I hate leaving it when I leave the room because I just don't want to tempt the housekeeper that much. Will wrap it up again to hide it. But every time I go outside it gets too tiring so I finally looked around and bought this safety rope. I'm so glad I did. It fits my laptop model perfectly - the slot for it is on the right side. I…

Frames are not all the same

Good product. The Chinese who assembled it are probably great too. But the service doesn't exist. The frame of my new Dell Inspiron is pushed too far from the edge. I don't know - if I were selling this I'd try to find out which PCs it runs on and do some dropdowns on the web page so you can find out without ordering it by pulling it out of the box. , see that it does not work, try to send it back in a package, buy a roll of tape, pay more than half the cost of returning it, and then be…

  • Not cheap but decent

  • Some flaws

It does exactly what a lock in this price range is supposed to do

Pros: Thicker than many other cable locks I've had. Easy lock and unlock so you don't have to spend five minutes locking your computer and then another five minutes unlocking your computer. It shakes on my netbook so the rubber bumper is really good but doesn't shake on my laptop. So whether or not you get the "jiggly" people have been talking about depends on the computer slot you're dealing with. However, it's better than the coiled Kensington combination lock I've bought before in every way.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
