looks great in kits

It's a lot bigger than I thought. The lander sits on the base, it DOES NOT LATCH TOGETHER. It was easy for me to put it together as I'm a big Lego fan and have built hundreds of sets, but this is a professional skill build. looks great, you won't be disappointed

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Minor issues

Perfect fit for the LEGO Space Collection

I was hesitant to buy it as it didn't have good reviews online but boy am I glad I bought it. It looks absolutely amazing with Lego Saturn V or just like that. If you love Lego and love space, just buy this set. It was so much fun to build. It took me a few hours to assemble. To be honest I cannot recommend this set enough. Spacescapes are just stunning landscapes and, quite frankly, art. I wasn't sure at first but I'm very glad I bought it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great addition to my LEGO Space collection

This is not a toy. This is an exhibition. The finished LEGO is fragile in places and is meant to be viewed rather than manipulated. Sometimes it took brute force to put the pieces together. My fingertips go soft. Many details are tiny. The instructions are complex, often with many parts and multiple steps per page. Often the view is rotated or partially hidden, relying on intuition to figure out where to place the next piece. This LEGO is not for small children. This LEGO is great. It took me…

Expensive but amazing.

Lego is expensive but amazing. If the old adage you are paying for is true, then Lego is a premium product. It's expensive, but I've probably only seen a handful of rubble in my entire life. The International Space Station is part of its "adult" lineup. It is intended for decoration, not for play. Sturdy display stand included. Places takes one and a half meters. So not small. Hand and solar panel portability means you can place it on almost any surface and adjust it for optimal viewing. If…

Second model to buy

BLUF: If you have a Saturn V rocket and like it, 100% buy the next one. If you don't, think about the Saturn V rocket first and then come back unless you need a simpler build. All in all a fun build and an excellent end product for the Saturn V rocket. Short to medium build time (half a day or less), aiming for details, not parts, to count. As a space enthusiast, I have always been drawn to the International Space Station and this model has proven to be synergistic with that interest. The end…

Great model at a great price

Pros: Given the complex structure of the space station, this is also a surprisingly solid Lego set. Also, this is an amazingly detailed model considering its size. It's a successful attempt to showcase the most important external components, including several scientific experimental stands and the Canadarm, using the smallest Lego bricks. I think it took a lot of time and effort to design the lego model of the station at this scale. My complaints: The spaceship model is wrong scale, it should…

Great set, now I need more.

Didn't even know this kit existed a month ago. I've always thought ISS was really cool so when I stumbled across this set I bought it. I bought the Megabloks Starship Enterprise set about 3 years ago which is an absolute monster and took me a week to build and it was the first set I've built since. After a few days, the build is actually a lot easier than it looks, since you're doing dozens of small builds, one at a time, each with no more than 5 or 6 steps. The set is divided into 6 numbered…
