Nice little voltmeter

I installed this voltmeter on my van battery to get a more accurate reading than the 3 dots on the panel. It's easy to see even in bright sunlight.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • disappears

Functional, good value for money.

Measured to 0.1V with an accurate voltmeter. For what it is, it's more than enough. It won't end up in a NIST triple vacuum hood, but it will fit nicely in a car.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Everything OK

Know your voltage

I bought two of these, one for the starter battery and one for the auxiliary battery. They fit perfectly where the cigarette lighter and auxiliary power socket used to be, look and work great in a Jeep Wrangler.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • High price

Worth the money: Replacement parts

Easy to install in my RV to monitor the output of the 12v charger Tested with a Sperry Instruments multimeter and found to be very accurate. I bought the green LED version which is easy to read. Very satisfied!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Quality

Bright and very legible.

I connected this display to a 12 volt backup sump pump system. At first glance it shows me the status of a 12 volt battery. There's not much to say about the sump system, but this display gives it a high-tech look.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Almost never

Will use it for my lawn tractor.

I had a regulator failure on my garden tractor and didn't know it until the battery died and it wouldn't start. Adding this voltmeter tells me if the charging system is working or not. I checked it against an accurate voltmeter (fluke) and it was fairly accurate, within a tenth or two.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Null

So far, so good! - Gauges

Used to install a voltmeter on my '07 Grand Cherokee. One of the cigarette lighter sockets burned out so I used the hole where it was, just had to enlarge it by about 1/8 inch to fit. Connected to accessory and ground wires on the back of the radio so it only turns on when the car is on. Seems to be working fine so far.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Crumpled Pack

Really great voltmeters

Use several of these and you will love their brightness and accuracy. This model does not "flicker" on the camera. High refresh rate. UPDATE - June 22, 2018 - They work 24/7 in my solar generators. Please note that these are NOT 24V meters, they rise to 24V and then burst. Use the Blue Sea Systems 1733 Voltmeter when you need the best of the best for 24V systems.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Large easy to read small format display

Perfect for my Ford E350 XLT's auxiliary voltmeter. The Ford Ratio Battery Sensor does not provide a low alternator output voltage warning. This voltmeter requires drilling a 1" ATM fuse holder and tapping to measure the ignition controlled voltage at the fuse distribution block. Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
